However, the action scenes do need improvement, if you haven't read the books you might get a bkt lost of what is haopening, so yes, I think they should considered a bit more background information at the beginning, overall I liked it and will be waiting for the next ones. I was afraid of the results from this, as it was the first time Passionflix used CGI in their movies, which is a good thing, as they opened the possibilitiy for more books in this genre to be adapted in the future. As for the cast they did a good job, the CGI was not overdone, and was pretty accurate for what I imagined while reading the books. This is the first PNR movie done by Passionflix under Taryn O'Neill's direction and I must say she did a very good job, the screenplay adaptation was good, trying to fit a book into a 2 hour movie is always challenging, yes it's just the first book and the other ones are also optioned to be produced in the near future. I've been a fan of the author for years, this is not the best series I love others way more but is very good and would always recommend reading the whole series. Wicked is based on the first book of The Wicked Trilogy by Jennifer L Armentrout, it's a YA paranormal romance set in New Orleans. This was close for me on a couple of occasions. A movie is about the same, but also not being confusing or ridiculous to the point where the watcher wants to turn it off. I'm not good with words, I just know that so much Iike the beginning of a book is about catching the readers attention and wanting them to read more. They need to add to help the book transition well. But also, sometimes I feel like word for word script doesn't always translate well to film. There are things I appreciate about Passionflix in that they never sway from the heart of the book. To rehearsed or like I was listening to him read off a promter. Either the acting is terrible there, (as it was with a lot of the secondary characters) or too forced in the beginning. I also felt this way about the introduction to Tink. But as relaxed/natural as later on in the movie. The acting by Anna and Liam was okay, but again, because they just flew into "like" with each other and we didn't get to see any general interaction between them until after they had hooked up, it felt forced. put off by how the movie flew right into action with no real information on the characters. I've ready the books, and I think this is another movie by Passionflix that your average person would be missing things if they hadn't.
